About Greg

Greg Justice is a best-selling author, speaker, and fitness entrepreneur and was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame in 2017. He is the proud founder of AYC Health & Fitness, Kansas City’s first personal training studio, which has been running strong for over thirty years. Today, AYC specializes in onsite corporate wellness, personal and small-group training.

Having been a staple in the fitness industry for four decades as a club manager, owner, personal fitness trainer, and corporate wellness supervisor, Greg’s had the good fortune to work with athletes and non-athletes of all ages and physical abilities. He has served as a conditioning coach at the collegiate level and worked with the Kansas City Chiefs, during the offseason, in the early 1980’s, along with professional baseball, soccer and golf athletes.

In addition, to establishing the National Corporate Fitness Institute (NCFI), a certifying body for fitness professionals, Greg’s most recent venture is co-founding Scriptor Publishing Group.

Greg has authored or co-authored 25+ books including, Treadside Manner: Confessions of a Serial Personal Trainer and Mind Your Own Fitness: A Mindful Approach to Exercise, and contributes to many international publications including, Men’s Fitness, Women’s Health, Prevention, Time, US News & World Report, New York Times, IDEA Fitness Journal, Corporate Wellness Magazine, and writes a monthly column for Personal Fitness Professional magazine.

Greg holds a master’s degree in HPER (exercise science) (1986) and a bachelor’s degree in Health & Physical Education (1983) from Morehead State University, Morehead, KY. He also holds many industry certifications.
